Nice man. I got my first and only mark of excellence on the t34 last week.
What do you think of the scorpion? I was thinking of buying it to farm credits. I have the highest per game average in it credit wise. I'm not sure if it's b/c it's my only Tier 7 or not though. |

Worked hard to get the 3rd mark:
Scorpion is a nice vehicle, gun is accurate and shell speed is decent. $4000 per gold shell is not going to help you farm credit when you see tier 9's, which happens quite often. Only train 4 crew, normal tier X, US TDs have 5 crews... but as the only premium US TD available, it might be a good investment if you want to grind all the way up to tier X in US TD line. IMO, the bundle WarGaming offer are money sucking ripoffs,... Scorpion Bundle is not worth $49, unless you really really really want a US premium TD. For credit farming, you're better off getting a SU-100Y, less expensive, train more crews; Russian bias is real in WoT. SU-122-44 is nice, too.. excellent camo rating, excellent DPM, but the gold ammo cost lots of credit. IMO both offer far better value than Scorpion bundle. |

Cool I was looking at the SU-122 as well. The only thing that dissuaded me was the accuracy as I prefer to snipe. The alpha o the 122 is really nice though.
I'll take a look again at both. Thanks again for the tips. |

Negative.. each account is independent... no transfer of anything between each account.
But you can buy stuff from the WoT Gift Shop to give to another account. There is a "Recruiting reward" that if you recruit a player to start a new account and that player play so much that the grind up to US heavy tier 10 tank T110E5, you, as a recruiter can receive a special premium tier 8 US med tank for free. BTW if I score some bonus codes for premium account time, would anyone here be interested? Last futzed with by "A"; October 30th, 2015 at 09:17 AM. |

Mods
Folks, if you are still playing WoT in default setting without mods, you are entering each battle at significant disadvantage.
WoT Mods are files that advanced players create to give better gaming experience overall. Ranging from realistic gun sounds, special crew voices, 6th sense icon without the commander's perk to gun reticle with chance of penetration against enemy vehicle that your are aimed towards. Other more controversial mods such as turret aiming direction on minimap, tracers from all enemy vehicles are debatable in legality. Some very helpful mods like colored font for minimap, this helps you learn the proper call sign for designated sectors on minimap. view range circles and rendering range, reload counter above enemy/ally vehicle, last known position of enemies on minimap, they all give you vital information that can help your survival in battle. Personally, I have been using: Aslain's ModPack Installer for nearly 3 years. Setting up the ModPack for the first time to your personal preference can be a time consuming task, takes about 20-45 min with a decent internet connection. After the initial install, you may find the setup is not really what you like and want to change, that will take another 10-20 min. If you try many different mods, you just may find the ones that actually helps you the most, without trying you will be missing out. If you require assistance in setting up Mods in WoT, you can always ask me when you see me online or in-game. |

If you like to play SPGs, there is a mod to change the normal God-eye view: to a more practical 3D view: Make it easier to identify the targets that you might be able to hit 5x EXP Weekend is upon us.. expect win rate to drop significantly. Take advantage of the discounts of premium vehicles that goes on sale. Think about which nation/tank line you are grinding and ultimately want to get a tier X in that line. The premium vehicle will allow you to transfer crew member of that tank line without performance penalty and gain crew EXP for skills/perks faster. Personally, one of my fav tier 6 premium is the Type 64. Fast, maneuverable, good enough even for Stronghold battles, at 30% off it's a good investment. |

In my experience, random battles tend to fill up with players with "less patience", more incidents of "lemming train" in random battles.
One remedy for such "special weekends", drive the premium tier 5, Matilda IV or Matilda Black Prince; even better platoon up with two other Matilda players, load up with gold ammo, station next to solid objects and stay near the spawn, defend the ally base. Troll armor of Matilda and quick reload have higher chance to finish off enemies with low HP when they reach ally base. |

NA server account with tier 10, IS-7 and two premium vehicles for $16
NA server account with tier 10, IS-7 and two premium vehicles for $12 No affiliations, just thought to be a good deal for someone to take advantage of. If I was starting out allover again, I would jump on it. This game seems to have a bias towards Russian vehicles, out perform vehicles from other nations in similar tier. Along the IS-7, Russian Heavy tank line, KV-1, KV-85 and IS-3 are vehicles that are worthy to keep in the garage permanently, since they outperform vehicles in the same tier. KV-85 has good mobility for heavy tank, with 122mm gun is a strong deterrent for most opponents that you may encounter, even tier 8s. Huge alpha damage w/122mm gun, but the long reload and aim time so need to be patient to make shots actually does the damage. Good for close encounters.
100mm gun is more versatile, nearly twice as quick to reload from 122mm, does good damage against most tier 7 that you may face. Always keep in mind that KV-85 has very little gun depression.. any attempt to try and "peek over the hill" to get a shot at enemy on the other side of the hump would just leave you exposed to enemy fire, before you can get a shot at them. Stay on the low ground and be patient, keep the hull safe from enemy fire and let the turret absorb/bounce the shots, wait for enemies to crest the hill to take them out. Below is how u play as an "Active Scout" on Prokhorovka, Utilize "T" key to designate targets for ally to hit/engage, don't engage enemy yourself until they are low in HP. REPLAY: Type 64 near TOP EXP Over 1800 in assisted damage: |

Rocked the German SPG today.
And no 3X bonus, wasn't my first win of the day. Glad the game ended when it did. I only had 14 rounds on the SPG when I started. Fired 13 shots, 8 direct hits and 3 splash so 11 of my 13 shots hit something. |

The UK Med tank line tier X, Centurion Action X is an excellent med tank and normal Cromwell is likely the best tier 6 med tank. Depending which vehicle line you plan to grind up towards tier X, the premium vehicles (ISU-122S, Cromwell B, IS-2, T-34-85 Rudy) that come with 100% BIA (Brothers-In-Arms) skill already trained are more valuable than the rest. Not only do those crews allow better vehicle performance, they can be re-trained for other vehicles in the same vehicle line during specials, and still maintain efficiency. But more importantly, they require less crew EXP to obtain all following crew skill/perk. (They require far less number of battles to add skills/perks) I rarely purchase premium days, only use gold that I win or purchased during discount to exchange for premium time. I don't play often enough to have continuous premium days on my accounts, only those special x3 or x5 weeks/weekends that I use gold or bonus codes in exchange for premium time. During the non x3 or x5 special days, I just play the daily x2 in each vehicle and be done for the day. Had a good battle in my tier 6 Type 64 in a tier 9 battle... REPLAY: 36% win chance. All vehicles are on sale until the end of the year, premium and regular; you can pick up a tier 3 premium for less than $5 now.
Depending on you computer's performance, internet connection reliability, some higher tier vehicles may not be as pleasant to play as players with super gaming PC and T1 connection. |

I have also created designated WoT accounts for specific vehicle line on the tech tree, and researched all the way up to tier X vehicles.
I've learned that if you have a premium vehicle that match the tech tree line, the benefit is quite valuable.. LT does ally team no good when rushing towards enemy territory to spot enemies where no ally can damage the enemies that are spotted at the beginning of the battle. Better strategy from the battle start would be help the slower vehicle or SPGs to mobilize towards strategic locations for defense or protection. Intercept and eliminate the enemy scouts that rush near our base or ally SPGs. Once enemy scouts are eliminated, LT can assist ally flank or search for enemy SPGs. A light tanks can be deadly towards the end of a battle when enemies are low in HP, but most players lack the patience to survive in the battle long enough to be effective in latter part of the battle. |
