Am i strange for wanting this as my next car. - Page 2

Yeah, that's the previous generation then. the newer models had an overhaul and are turbocharged now, which bumped bhp by something like 10-15. I'm told the build quality is nicer on the new ones too, but I've never been in an older one.

Have to disagree on the chick car thing lol. A car with that kind of pedigree just can't be written off that easily

to each his own I suppose.

haha. Nah, my brother loves to say the same thing cuz he has a jeep. I've finally convinced him that even if I can't offroad like he can, I can run circles around his car lol.

The interior hasnt changed since I last got sat in one. I just took a look at stock photos from MINI. I dont see how its well put together at all but im sure MINI owners find it aesthetically pleasing which is why you guys would purchase it.

I don't think anyone is crazy to want one of those. They're not my style, but as Apex mentioned, they are frustratingly fast at autocross events, so they are great handling cars, and the build quality should be very good. To me, they are in that gray area between "chick car" and "not chick car." Let's call them metrosexual cars.

My personally favored car in that segment is the Mazdaspeed 3. It has an almost suicidal amount of power for its size and FF layout.
