I bought a pair of Fly pants last week, and I like them a lot. They weren't listed as overpants, but unless you wear bulky pants under them they are true to size (I can wear regular fit jeans under them). I wore them around the house a bit so I could get accustomed to them, and so I could adjust the armour so it's in the right place.

Then ... it was a warming morning but there was still a bit of a damp chill in the air, and I decided to wear them by themselves over a pair of boxers. At first they were great, but as it warmed up and I spent some time walking back and forth to pick up some groceries they started getting hot. At speed they do breathe, not so much when walking. When I got home and took them off my boxers were soaked with sweat to the point that I wrung them out in the sink and put on a dry pair. So while they're great for rain and have abrasion resistance, I think they'll be replacing my Frogg Togg pants instead of being daily riding gear. Other than that they are made well, have useful features, and fit perfectly if you understand that they are pants, not jeans, and ride at your natural waist instead of slung around your hips.

Not mesh, and no vents, they're an inexpensive moto pant that will work well, I think, for cool and wet weather. Down the road I think I'll get a pair of Tourmaster Air mesh pants that match up to my TM mesh jacket, but right now the budget won't stand it. I figure that if I wait until cool weather some of the mesh pants might go on sale.

In another month of so I think these will be ideal.

lol, sorry man...don't know if its something in the water in Colorado, but growing up I was one of the shorter guys. Most of my friends were all over 6 foot. Now down here in Texas I seem to be on the taller side of most I have come across. Maybe its the altitude

Finally got my scorpion deuce pants in. Fit nice over pants, a little long while standing but perfect once on the bike. Well try them out on way to work tomorrow. Not a moment to soon either, had another close call on way home today. A van pulled out onto street making a left turn in front of me. Locked up the brakes for a couple seconds and felt rear start to swing around. Left off brakes and reapplied, was able to stop and van gunned it. Took a lot for me to not whip around and chase the Bastard down. I have been trying to control my road rage now that I ride a bike. Next purchase will be a camera so I can have proof for cops or companies to show. This guy was in a company work van, but with all the excitement I wasn't able to catch what company he worked for.
