So I bought an aftermarket R/R off eBay. Has year warranty so seems legit. Made in Taiwan if that matters. It came today and I plugged it in and now the readings are above 14volts. So I suppose I bought a bad used one after all. And I tested the stator on the other plug just to be safe and all reading accurately. Gonna take it for a test ride (close by this time lol) and see. But I should be back in business.
