I have absolutely not been able to replicate the issue Aaron is experiencing. I tried the ignition on all of Feel Like a Pro Brian Bartlow's bikes.

The description led me to believe that something was out of spec internally on the motor. Now I am 90% certain this is the case.

The unit is not bad. However I may have a solution to Aaron's issues. But I will need to send the unit to BRT to have it custom tuned for ignition points below 3500 rpm.

Do I need to take my bike to a shop/ dealer to have the motor looked over?
>Also, what exactly could it be or it could it still be a number of things. Is my recent use of Fram filters to blame? lol
>>Will this customed tuned TIS have any performance loss due to the custom tuning?
>>>How long will it be before I can even see if it will work in my bike?

I know it's a lot of questions. Sorry for that.

At this time I wouldn't bother going to a shop. The custom tune is for ease of start up and idle.

I need to see if brt is willing to reprogram it for you. Then I will pm you with details.

I know this thread is a little old, but I thought I'd let you guys know that Matt kept me updated during the entire process. I got a new unit and it works as described.
My ninjette has a new feel to it and I love it.

I found Sportisi yesterday, and now I have to work up a whole new budget for all that crap I need for my bike now :P . THANKS .

Great news on the customer service, though. And good job sticking it out on the forum!
