When I lived in China, standard winter gear included oven mitts.

Sorry, currently the "shopping" tab under google isn't available to me. I thought this next best thing:
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Ducks+Unlimited+ATV+Hand+warmers > click on the "shopping" tab.

The HH maker no longer produces a model for the 250, apparently due to liability-related concerns that the headwinds may press the mitts back on the levers because the 250 has no mirror stalks to secure them. However, the HH representative suggested I consider the model he used on his Connie, and that's what I ordered. I haven't experienced any pressure back on the levers on my ZZR250, nor has there been any problem with the mitts obstructing my fingers reaching for the levers.A bit mor expensive than the Duck Unlimited version but this would seem to eliminate the problem of the covers deforming while riding.

It's the season for these stuff again so I'm reviving this thread. I just bought myself FirstGear heated gloves and the heat controller. I bought the dual controller so when I'm ready when I get the jacket liner later on. I have to 'budget' my purchases so the wife will not notice them. hahaha. I ride all seasons.
Gloves: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...er-Gloves.aspx Controller: http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...t-Troller.aspx I've seen these Hippo Hands in Paris everywhere when I was there last April. I was so intrigued by them that I took photos of them and wondering why they were not available in the US, I thought.

It is getting chilly again. Feeling like the snow is close. Makes me love my 75/25 tires. Tube-type knobbies rule.
