Skippii... dude... relationships aren't for everyone. There are plenty of people out there that are happy and single. Some date, some never date, everyone's different.
My older sister never dated. OK, once, she went out with a guy that we all called "freaky freddy" who tried to to give me advice. I didn't need advice from freaky anyone, least of all this goober. Anyways, he cheated (after two dates) and she stopped dating. For about 15 years. And she collected cats. Just saying. My sister (whom I used to take baths with -shudder-) was becoming the weird cat lady. I gave up on her. So did my parents. So did our little sister (also single.) Me? I got married at 20 years old. To a girl that lived in CT, I was stationed in CA at the time. Obviously, doomed to failure from the start. As a close friend pointed out, I didn't even know her first name until a week before the wedding. She goes by her middle name, I'm not that off. 18 years later... We're still married. And doing fine. Obviously, I was better off in a relationship. So my older sister, the cat lady, remember? She decided to spice up her life, and signs up on one of the online dating sites, I forget which one. She goes on one date she finds on it, and a year later, marries the guy. They've been married 5 years. I'm almost sure that my sister was his first date... They will grow old with many cats... together. She was 34 years old. The points I'm trying to make are this: 1. There's nothing wrong with not being in relationships. Everyone is different, and that's OK. 2. It's never too late to change your status. More than once, if need be. 3. Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance was a great read. **** you and your lousy taste in reading. Good luck. The best way I found to find girls to date was to be 18, in great physical shape, and have a bad-ass US Air Force uniform to hide in. So... for practical advice, I'm about worthless. I met my wife while home on leave. She was the friend of a friend. I'm not saying we didn't hit it off, because we did... but we were both ****-faced. Anyways, good luck!

I went back and re-read it, and owe you a sincere apology. Skippii, I'm sorry. I misunderstood. This is one of my favorite books, as well. I can look to the right, and see it on my bookshelf from where I sit, grease stains and dogeared pages. Which is why I rushed to its defense. That and a nasty cold that had me downed all day, and I was dosed heavy on cold medicine... But the other two points, I stand firm on those.
