I propose positive points for:
Extra reflective bits (HALO bands, the stickers they give out at MSF classes, reflective rim stripes, etc.) Personal geegaws (Windstoppers, add-on shield tint) I propose negative points for: -Stick-on mohawks and ponytails -Faceshield overlays (the ones that make you look like a demon, or a knight, or a nightmare clown) -Sneaker "condoms" (shift protectors) - SERIOUS negative points for Batman, Iron Man or TRON suits |

Don't feel bad. Since I posted I've already bought an Aerostich Roadcrafter and a new pair of gloves.

A lot of stuff I have now too big to fit me since I lost weight, but I haven't bothered getting rid of yet. This also doesn't include dirt stuff (which isn't that much, since I bought the gear but never bought a dirt bike).
Also note, I usually buy my gear on closeout or used if it's leather, so I'm not actually spending a ton of money. That probably should lower my score some, but I'm going by MSRP price on categories that have price. Boots 2 - Setup Sunrise 3 - Sidi Vertigo 4 - Sidi Vortice Pants 1 - Sliders jeans 3 - A* AST-1 3 - Scorpion shock and Awe 4 - RS Taichi GMX motion Pants 4 - Kushitani Dragon pants Jackets 3 - Shift XC 3 - Alpinestars T-Gasoline 4 - Dainese Nevada 4 - Alpinestars Spinner 4 - RS Taichi GMX Motion Jacket 4 - Kushitani Dragon jacket Gloves 1 - Alpinestars SMX-2 3 - Cortech scarab winter 3 - Teknic Xcelerators 4 - Knox Handroid Helmet 4 - Shoei TZ-R 4 - HJC RPS-10 Suits 4 - Kushitani 1 piece suit 4 - RS Taichi Nixie 1 piece suit (NXL003 Type 3) Misc gear 1 - Fieldsheer reflective vest 1 - Shift knee gaurds 1 - Forcefield armored pants 2 - Knox Contour back protector 2 - Knox Aegis back protector 2 - Knox large chest protector 3 - tinted shieds for both helmets, as well as pin lock shield for shoei 1 - 3 sets of in jacket upper armor as backup replacement Total 86 if my math isn't wrong. I also sort of cheated with the kushitani dragon and rs taichi GMX, but I got those separately, not as a suit. Also didn't add brand whore points. That should only apply if you exclusively wear a brand IMO. |

How did you choose the brands for the Brand Whore Bonus Points? I'm not asking because I want extra points. What about Daytona, RS-Taichi, and/or Sidi? |

How do you like your Tourmaster boots? I've fallen back in love with mine again recently. Have about $700 in boots sitting in my closet and I find myself wearing my $100 Tourmasters almost all the time.
Also -1 points for not knowing the brand of gloves.

guys i only have 10 points
just some over the ankle leather work boots..icon leather gloves, an icon textile jacket, and an Arai helmet. With this I think I will feel (somewhat) safe riding to work on the backroads (25-40mph zones). I have my eyes set on a pair of Spidi boots which I need to save up for. I also would really like to get a full leather race suit, armor everywhere, for long highway rides just because I don't think I'd feel safe enough otherwise. My only concern right now is that I'm very short (same exact size as Dani Pedrosa, height and weight!) and am having a hard time finding something that will fit. Anyone know of a suit that comes in a small enough size??? |

I think if I can find the RS taichi brand somewhere, they have sizes that fit. Dianese seems to be a little too large for me, 44 euro is the smallest i think. Thanks, I didnt know about the taichi brand!
Good news, getting Spidi boots for my birthday..woohoo. |

Bad news is you wont find these in stores at all with the exception of a few retailers. You need to order them through the official retailers like Motoliberty or STG. They are pretty knowledgeable in sizing from what I hear so they will ask for your measurements to be sure. If you do choose to order, if you specify the Japanese sizing(which you probably will), just prepare for a two week delay or so because sometimes they would need to order it from Japan. |

Yeah, I noticed that they weren't as available. It seems as though Japanese SS would fit well. I think I'd be willing to wait two weeks to get a great fit though
