My interest in motorcycling started when my mom brought me a drivers manual home. Being the nice mom she is, she also brought me a motorcycle manual. Though, it was in Spanish. So, the "Manual del Motocielista" would not be very helpful. Next thing you know I was looking up motorcycles, and was hooked.

I'm not going to lie. Found a stash of Easy Riders in a box under a tree in a field not far from my house when I was like 10. Lots of breasts and motorcycles. Very Pavlovian affinity for motorcycles followed. Thankfully, later in life I have learned the dangers of topless cycling, and the actual hideousness of cruisers so artfully hidden by double Ds in the magazine.

The guys across the street had 500 and 750 triple Kawasaki s then 900 z1s .The first bike I ever rode was a 500Kh.
But the GPZ1100 Kantana was the bike that I lost sleep over in 1981. If I had any money I would be dead now ;-)

I'm almost 19, bought the bike when I was 17. I've always loved bikes. Always. Honestly what I remember most is the dudes flying down the freeway on brightly colored crotch rockets in just a t-shirt; I thought that was pretty damn cool, and I made a point to learn every make and model bike just by looking at them. I could point out every bike to my mom whenever we drove anywhere. (I especially loved those bright green ones, which I now know are the best kawi's out there )

But then I seriously started looking into bikes to buy one and realized that those guys on the freeway were "squids" and it wasn't cool. Then I realized how much the ladies like a guy in motorcycle gear once I started riding I loved my bike

I always knew they were super dangerous but they looked really cool and fun.

My sister's boyfriend was considering buying a scooter and taking the BRC to get his endorsement which got me thinking. One day, I just signed up for the MSF 3 months in advance without thinking twice about it. I've never owned a motorcycle before. I only have less than 24 hours of riding experience, yet I'll have my license within 7-10 days.

My dad doesn't even know I took these classes. lol

I remember being about 5 or 6 years old and seeing about 10-15 brightly colored sports bikes drive past the car. I told my mom "one day I'm going to get a motorcycle." She was vehement that I wasn't, and I had a dose of reality of "who the **** is going to teach me to drive this?!"

About 15 years later, in the fall, I met a guy who I thought was the coolest person ever because he drove an 09 Ninja 250. He told me that in the next summer I should take the class, and that was the beginning of a lively addiction.

Well the fact that I learned how to ride a mini bike at 4 and rode my bike the first time with no training wheels helped.
but Ive been on two wheels for 18 years and enjoy every second of it.

In Europe

I was about 8-9 years of age in Europe I was playing in a place called bunkers when a group of German dirt bikers came by. They gave us rides. Before that I only road horses. The two seemed alike. From that point on I was attached and always wanted to ride. The open feeling, the freedom, the fun, the fear and adrenalin all rolled into one.
