Codi - the first picture was taken on the way to get a new rear tire, right?

Haha they were actually both taken today, and I intend to not get a new tire till next riding season (ridiculous I know). Actually 2 weekends ago I had an opportunity at a new FREE back tire, all I had to do was win a burnout competition (against 1 other person) clearly I didn't take that risk of not getting it.

I can see why you were torn Codi. I prefer the bike angle and lighting in the first one, but the background in the second one is cooler.

Thanks Akima, if I had access into that industrial area I would have gotten a few more shots at different angles.

Here's one of my favorite pics of my bike, though I do have to admit I have plenty of favs for this bike:

The handling is great. The balance and stability of the ride feels alot better than before. My wife said that she felt a big difference in the ride.

I think the extended swingarm looks quite good. Would be fun to give that bike a ride and see how it changes the feel of the bike.

We could do swapsies for a day! Though you probably wouldn't have so much fun on mine: it's quite close to stock. I plan to put an Area P full exhaust system on it next year though. I've also got a bunch of [expensive] graphics ideas for my motorcycle.

If you had my bike for a whole day...I probably wouldn't get it back . Definitely send pic's when you get your exhaust system on...and when you put the graphics on it.

The swingarm, along with a wider tire actually gives the bike a better center of balance. Since the change…my performance and handling has improved greatly in both straight-aways and cornering. Straight-aways meaning…when you’re going about 60mph and the wind is blowing…it’s not affecting the performance of the bike. And cornering definitely puts a smile on my face…that’s why I went with the 180 size tire because it’s a little harder to lean with a 190. I am not looking into speed from my 250r…but stability, balance and great performance. Plus..I wanted to mod up my bike like my cars. Just having fun with my 250r…that’s all. Above is my test engineering degree talking for me..... Have fun and be safe.

I'm sorry they is no possible way your bike is more flick-able then a standard 250. With a elongated swing-arm you wouldnt stand a chance against my 250 or anyone else's 250 in corners. I guess I could see the freeway thing, that makes sense. But cornering there is no way

Your bike has a bigger wheelbase then the new GSXR 750 lol

Interesting.
I always think long swingarms are worst to corner because you have a bigger distance between the wheels.
That's the pro in Buells. Lower gravity center and almost together wheels give to Buel the title of the Best corner bike in the world.

Just like I tell my friends...If you never had a Mercedes...then you'll never know the feeling...until you own one. I've been riding GSXR-600 for years....but I'am not trying to compare apples to oranges. I just like the style and feel of the extended swingarm...and since I've made the changes...I am definitely loving the feel of my bike....

Whether you've ridden a bike with an extended swing arm or not doesn't change the dynamics of what affects the turning ability of a bike.

If you honestly believe it increases your performance in both straight-line and cornering then I challenge you to take it to the track and prove it.

I was ask earlier...why? That why applies to me...not you and your bike...but me. The stability, balance and performance is what I wanted on my bike. It will not apply to you or your bike at all. I don't care if your bike can beat mine in a straight away...or beat mine going around corners...I'am too old for that stuff. Alot of us have some really nice mods on our bikes...and some of us don't...but it doesn't make any of us better than the next person. All I am doing is sharing my bike with everyone...if you like it...good! If you don't...thats good too! Cause I know its not for everyone. Now!!..When I want to ride somethings fast...and can handle the curves...I'll drive my Mercedes AMG...but for now...I am just having fun with my bike. You all ride safe...

it can't be. A stock rim is 3.5 inches wide and will pinch some 150's. There's no way it could hold a 180
