Are you sure because I did find some but that's $250 I don't really what to part with for a one off test. If I decide I enjoyed the class then I'll buy all the required parts and bodywork(C-5 paint) and do more racing. I just don't want it to end up like my NSR experiance.

Yep, no case covers for the 250. And yes on a transponder, but you can rent one for $30 for the weekend. As far as the body work goes, there's always something like this:

For a cheaper and faster solution, If you want to just put a belly pan in your stock bodywork. Or you can get a full set of hotbodies on buy 1 get one free from hotbodies themselves or a single set off Richard for $385:

I also have a spare set I could loan out, but I'd need it replaced in not too too long just for the peace of mind, since I've been having a pretty sketchy year

If I borrow anything it's only for the weekend and gets stripped and returned right after last race on Sunday.

Seriously though, my spare set isn't drilled, so you'd have to get DZUS fasteners and drill out all the mounting points still, but so long as you replace it or return it, I don't mind lending it out.

And if it happens to feel like it's got a few hundred pounds of lead weights taped to the inside, don't worry, that's normal.

My bikes coming along good I should have my rears set and clipons mounted up next week. I also have a young gun I'm trying to help out with a couple parts so he can join us for his first big little bike road race.

Do they grid the experts and novices in the same race?

He hasn't done any new racers school but he an AMA PRO licence in supermoto and I can vouch for his skill first hand. What loops does he have to jump through and who's in change down there that I can get in touch with for answers to other questions regarding this.

If I haven't held a racing license in 5 years do I have to start back over as a novice

talk to Dustin with Trackdaz... you should BOTH be ok with AMA license reprocity for your expert cvma license.... you can always contact cvma direct through their website as well.

They've been gridding us all in the same wave, but if the class is big enough they might do two waves. Awesome you've got another kid coming, they always learn the ropes fast!

You may be able to start as expert, or novice, as darren said its really up to race direction.
