I know where to buy gear... I'm trying to decide which gear to buy. I like the A* stuff. I don't think Dianese makes ladies gear does it? We do fit differently, boys.

I was reading some reviews on the lady's suits and you should definitely try them on first.

What a sweetheart, Chris. As far as brands vs price goes is it better to go all out and get a Dianese or an A* or see if I can find something like a Joe Rocket or AGV?

So Dianese and A* are the only real options?

You know.... one piece leather suits are nice, but personally I like the two pieces that zip together. They are sure a lot less expensive and if you're like me who needs a small jacket and a medium sized pant, they're perfect. I do like that Dainese one-piece though.
NEED MORE PICS..........

How is the protection on them? I have a 2 piece for cruising around town but my main concern is to get knee pucks and good protection in case I go sliding off a mountain.

If I could get a one-piece at close to the price I paid for the two-piece I wear I'd probably get one myself -- that'll never happen though. Just get the pants with the knee pucks in them and save the money you'd spend on that one piece.

Keep in mind a Quality one piece suit is built for riding and not for walking much.
most will want you to hunched a little like a monkey when walking. Look for built in stretch material in the creases

i vote for pants with knee sliders, unless you're planning lots of track days.
save you some money and get you a camera too. (i think i read that somewhere) and don't listen to me, i have no experience with one piece or track days.

This is kinda off the subject of "pics of girls on bikes" but as for me I have shoping for gear online. You never know whether its going to fit right. I try to do research online and then find a bike shop that caries it.
They tend to be quite a ways away so it makes a good excuse for a road trip. |

When are you expecting them to come in? And remember to post pics, plenty of them - you can include the pants if you want...

LOL.. you're funny. Hopefully next week. I hope they come with a zipper attachment so I can hook it up to my jacket. If not, I will definitely be taking a trip to see Barnacle Bill to hook me up with a custom jacket set up for these pants. This will have to get me by until I can afford a suit!

Me with no gear on Spyder just a few weeks after we picked her up over a year ago.
And me in full gear riding the Spyder on 101 just north of SF just this past December and yes, that's my hubby on the back.
