I'd say low to mid as this is going to be a city only bike which might see 90 km/h less than once a month

That is actually the one we are going to use. And it is still pretty good up top.

I personally would perfer top end, but if the difference is only minimal on the top end, than the mid range option would be best. What did the dyno say?

Still waiting on the sheets. We're trying one more pipe design to try to get the max out of the system. The system will require a header wrap near the coolant tank. I am debating on selling it with the exhaust at the $499 price or dropping the price to $475 so the customer has their choice of header wraps.

Matt, what about Jet Hot or someother ceramic coating. That should keep the heat in the pipe.

its to close to even gamble but if the customer chooses they can do it. I don't have the ability to ceramic coat.

I'd sell the pipe with the header wrap if it needs it. Otherwise people will install it without the wrap then bitch when things start melting. Charge a few bucks more and save yourself some headaches.

Ya that's what I'd think too....there's no one over there that will ceramic wrap?? I wouldn't worry about giving any options on the wrap just do it in one colour and there is no worry about it being put on, not put on right or any other issue that might come up, with the fairings on you won't be able to see the wrapped section anyways. The only thing I would do is wrap the majority of the pipe that is running inside the fairings that way you won't get any surprise issues down the road from the heat coming in contact in other areas that aren't so obvious, but I guess that is something that I could do once I get the pipe

Will any additional mods need to be made when adding the new exhaust - rejet kit? shim?
I too would add the wrap to the price.

On a stock bike there is a chance only a shim will be needed in most of the US. Since we went from a 108 to a 98 main jet with an open pod filter in Indonesia (typically they run high jetting in their climate). We will have a recommended jetting start point which owners can then tweak to their climate.

Any word on those test kits? Or will those kits be part of the first 1000 kits?

BTW Matt, when are you planning to get the tester needle jet kits? I'll be ordering a Yoshi CF full exhaust between tomorrow and monday and I was wondering if I could qualify for the needle jet kits. I ask because I have to rejet since I'm getting a new exhaust. the same time I'll be ordering the K&N pod filter and do all the mod from the DIY.

Thanks in advance

The needles I have coming in next week for the tester batch. I'm waiting for the full jet kits before my testers get theirs though.

Needle Shipment is due in on the 29th. Huggers are clearing US customs right now. The Needle Shipment was only delayed about 4 days. The Huggers I was pissed about because I should have had them around the 10th.

Remember that my tail is for exit only so don't make any new holes or shove anything into the existing holes that are larger than the original dimensions....actually don't shove anything into any existing holes
