I want this kit, however it's sad that the tail cut would be like uber illegal here in Australia

Check the laws. I know in the U.S. some states requires if you chop off tail the rear fender part should extend out at least half the tire which this kit does making it legal.

Hey uhh I don't post much and kinda random but do you happen to live in Torrance? The bike looks really familiar. Anyways, sorry to hear about the hassle you had to go through but it's an amazing looking bike, congrats

Yes, I live in South Bay. I'm sure you've seen me riding around town right? It's my daily commuter although you might've seen me on my Black/White 636 as well.

Actually that was a misunderstanding I was too lazy too explain, I actually put how much I wanted to pay for it and you said yeah in the texts but I realized you didn't know what I meant but my bad It went alright, took a lot of effort because a lot of the pieces didn't fit very well and bolts were completely different but it turned out alright. I have to go to a farewell party but I'll upload a pic when I get back in a new thread.

Looked into it, but it's not worth the money/time. After I tuned the carbed and removed emission system I don't have to use the choke anymore. Bikes starts and runs fine.

Maybe retrofit an under tail exhaust? That would look badass.

Josh Brasse BLK Ninja Hell
I have gone through hell with this guy...............
I bought the actual bike from him, After about 20 very short rides - the motor is totally blown. Good thing I know enough to pull over and as my mechanic states - the back wheel could have locked up on the highway. Of course he took longer than promised. Told me himself he is bad at wiring... The speedometer didn't work at all.... I needed it for my motorcycle test... so he kindly replaced it back with the stock one - I waited at least a month and a half for a new speedometer. Still don't have it.. just get the run around. Then the signals stop working...... after he touches the wiring and wants me to pay for the part... After the stock speedometer was on it - now with gauges - I saw it was overheating..... When I told him the motor is shot... what does he do??? Offer to sell parts for me..... ya right !!!!!! He will not answer my emails or texts...... So now I paid $3200 for a piece of ****. I am pissed off!!! I guess I will have to buy a new bike - anyone want to buy his kit for cheap??? I will ship right away lol |

So..... He finally replied and we are coming to an agreement.... he isn't going to sell used bikes anymore - just the kits....
That's a good idea. Will let you all know if he follows through... |

Haven't logged in forever and just saw this.
Update: The bike still runs good and the kit is still great. Although, I need to change my clutch cable because it snapped on me. Being lazy at the moment. As for Cafeeee's issue, yeah I believe it. He's really a PITA to deal with and drags his feet. I could've told you it was a terrible idea to buy the bike from him. I'm surprised it even ran when you bought it. He buys the bike used and then let it sits there for months at his shop. The bike breaking down is expected. Good thing I have a new 250 and only ordered the kit from him. He only shipped me the kit because I plastered bad reviews all over the Internet. I love the kit and get tons of attention, but from my experience with him, it's hard to think I'd order from him again. Only time I'd buy another kit from him is if I lived near his shop so I could go pick up and pay same day. |

After reading this entire thread because I was looking for other people that had/wanted the 31BLK kit like me. I really want it so much more! The main reason is because I do live very close to the Brasse shop and could very easily just stop by and not have to go through with the fuss of ordering it from Joshua.
The only thing I would love is if you, ninjazx6r123, did me a HUGE favour and either listed every individual part or even the links to the parts you bought to make your ninja look so good! I tried to watch the videos you posted but they're all private now unfortunatly, however I did find a video of some guy in a parking garage. Regardless, any sort of response from you would be awesome! I know that I'm pretty late to the thread but hopefully you see this! Thanks for the help, Dante. |

Hey guys! I came across this thread after being unfortunately ripped off by Josh. I didn't order the bike, but the BRASSE Indoor Element Grill. Like some of you, communication was GREAT at the start. He was timely and so kind in all of our conversations prior and after my purchase. Even when I contacted him later saying that I unfortunately had to return the item (not because of an issue with it, just because as it turned out I couldn't use it in my apartment), he was quick with his response and very nice! He explained I'd have to pay for shipping, but that was totally fine with me since he guaranteed my refund.
Aaaaand then the item landed. I had the tracking number confirming it arrived on Oct. 14. So I emailed him right away and just asked him to let me know when I could expect to see the refund in my account. Cue RADIO SILENCE! Never heard a peep from him after that, and it's been a month at this point. Seems awfully convenient that he was prompt with all communications until the day came for my refund. Just terrible, awful customer service. And my item was only ~$200, so I can't imagine the stress others have had to deal with! Even if Josh is a new business owner, a new seller, and overwhelmed or whatever, ANYone with common sense knows that this is not how you handle issues with your products or customers. There just isn't an excuse for that. All that said, I really think the bike looks amazing -- happy you finally got it! |

I too just read this thread for the first time. It sure looks like a classic case of cash shortage. New orders are taken as quickly as possible to be able to buy parts to fill old orders. I've seen it happen enough that when I take orders to build Kawasaki triple expansion chambers, I don't take payment until the pipes are ready to ship. That way there can be no accusations that I'm scamming anyone if I don't get them built as quickly as I had hoped.
