gonna call them to order two extra ones tho, and hope that i dont have to go all the way there to pay for them till they arrive.

Cuong,

Would you like to start a list of confirmed and paid members so that it cleans this thread up a bit?

I figure it would be easier to see where everyone lies as far as commitment. This applies to the 25 you paid for of course. Oh, and if you could shoot out a paypal addy via PM or something along those lines it would be great!

Thanks for making this happen!

It was actually too late before the last few people asked! IOW, the order was already placed but he agreed to ask for more anyway. I doubt they'll all come together and it's too much trouble to handle everyone seperately, so it might just be best for him to lump all these "after the fact" requests into a second group buy.

when i called yesterday to add another 4, they told me that 15 already arrived. and they were still waiting for the other 10 (total 25). then i asked them to add another 4 to the list, but they had a hard time grasping the concept that i wanted more, and kept passing me from one department to another...... so i gave up and plan to go there today to ask them to order another 5 extra, so we have a total of 30.

at this point im gonna stop adding more people to the list.

any other additions will have to wait for another GB if we get enough ppl together again.

after you finish modding the hugger to fit the swing arm, (which took me about an hour). the hugger only takes a couple minutes to take off and put on, its just 3 bolts and a cable tie / zip tie.

so if you cant adjust the rear shock with it on, it doesnt take much to take it off, don't think you will need to adjust the rear shock more than once or twice to get the right position, and then you wont need to adjust it again, right?

I don't weigh much so I usually have it on the first setting but every once in a while I ride a passenger so I like to wind it up a notch or two. It's usually out of the blue so it'd be nice to do it without removing the hugger but whatever

aha... i ride the bike with my girlfriend almost every other day, so ive put it up 2 notches and left it at that, since i would have to otherwise adjust it like twice a day, lol!

i weigh 130lb, and shes 120. leaving it at the stiffer position when riding solo has not made much of a difference when on the roads, but it is noticeably harder/stiffer when riding through potholes, speed bumps, etc. what differences do you experience between the 2 settings when you are riding alone?

If you are loaded up for a cross-country ride instead of your usual local route or carrying a passenger you don't normally have, it makes sense to change it. I never bothered to turn mine back down after I cranked it all the way up for my move back in 2008 even though I only recently installed my Sportisi hugger.

When I leave it cranked up it kills my back on longish rides. I don't ride passengers often either which is why I like to put it back down

Usually when you open a dispute the other person has to respond to it, are you sure you didn't accidentally open some kind of dispute?

I think he was trying to send it as a "gift" and did this instead.

i have no idea how it could be on my end, i got the transfer reciept, and the dispute email before i even opened my paypal account. so there is no way that i could have applied for a dispute, lol

this is what PP has to say:

Resolution Center – Case Reversal Details

This payment has been selected for review and we have opened an investigation.

We suspect that this transaction may not have been authorized by the PayPal account holder.

We have placed a temporary hold on the funds until the investigation is complete.

Please provide some additional information about this transaction.

Response deadline: Sep 14, 2011

--------------------------------------------------

i tried to resolve the dispute, but its asking me if i have failed to deliver the goods, and its asking me to insert the mailing address, etc. lol...

so, no i haven't send the part, and even if i had, its not going to your address

i dont even have a refund option, all PP tells me is that i need to resolve the claim, but i dont know what i need to do to resolve something that i dont understand, lol

W.

How would you like to resolve this issue?

* I have not shipped the item and I would like to refund the payment.

* I can provide proof that the item was shipped through an approved shipper to the address on the Transaction Details page.

* I have refunded the payment for this transaction.

* None of these apply to me.

hmm, should i click on option 1?

Wasn't it received as a gift? How could they be expecting you to ship something? Perhaps they think that something is up with someone receiving so many gifts or perhaps they think Jeff used someone else's CC or he logged in from a different PC and they suspect that it wasn't him.

either way im not sure what i should do. i might have to try the:

* I have not shipped the item and I would like to refund the payment.

option?

from the options PP lists, it does not seem like jeff sent the money as a gift. but rather for goods.

waiting on Jeff to double check his PP, and let me know what i should do at this point, hehe...

helloooo? Jeff, i still cant resolve this dispute, no matter what option i take to resolve the dispute, paypal asks me to put in your shipping address, additional info, and your phone number. none of which i have.

i just got:
A final reminder to provide information by 9/14/2011 PP-001-455-435-301

Please help us find out whether the sender authorized this transaction by
providing us with information by 9/14/2011.

To provide your information, log in to your PayPal account and click the
Resolution Center tab.

If you do not respond by 9/14/2011, this case will be closed and the funds
will be reversed.

We advise you not to ship any items to the buyer until we find out whether
this transaction was authorized.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Thanks,

PayPal

please resolve this dispute on your end, or help me out so i can resolve it from my end or something. or do i just let PP automatically refund the money on the 14th...?

cheers,
W.

I have no idea to he honest. When I log in it just says waiting on information from you. I get no other options. Just let it refund it and I'll send it again I guess.

okay. the 14th is wednesday next week. lets hope this doesnt leave me with a bad Paypal Rep, rofl!

i could try and refund it sooner, if you pm me the mailing address and telephone number that you have registered on Paypal, that might clear it up sooner, so you can resend the money again.

thanks

it wont let me refund the money unless i add: your shipping address, and your phone number.

which is daft, since im trying to refund the money! so i don't understand why PP would ask for that info.

since i have to refund through the resolution center thing, which is different to refunding when there is no dispute involved.

so either i need those details, or i just wait it out till they refund if for us automatically on the 14th.

the goods aren't ready anyhow, so for me its fine to just wait for now.

cheers!
W.
