THURSDAY NIGHT is BIKE NITE @ Downtown ROYAL OAK!

Im done bowling on my thursday league. So I (and maybe dawn) will be going to EACH THURSDAY NIGHT, to hang in downtown Royal Oak.

"Blessing of the Bikes" Event @ Hellscreek ranch!!! 10am-??? (till we feel like it)

Meeting times are still being talked over, as I have to see who is SURELY GOING, so we can plan 1,2,3 meeting points gathering the rest as we make our way to HELL!

Guys start looking at the Traffic and Construction Reports on I-696, I-96, US-10,etc.... as I dont have a GPS, Carol/Betty do, but If we hit Detours Ill get lost!

Its weekly on WED's. We met at a different Restraunt each week. 6 or 630pm meeting time! Rain or shine, by Bike or by Car!

Betty is like the organizer of the WED- Dinner meetings!

Dawn and I are gonna try to make this a weekly thing! Met new ppl and get to know the ones already met, better!



We rode up to downtown in the Clem afterwards! WED night are "Car nights" out there, we had some Ice cream and walked around checking out the few muscle cars and other bikes there! It was short but fun!

Most of the group will be coming from the east side, so breakfast first. If breakfast happens, I'll be meeting the group on their turf. It will likely start in this area, if you wanted to meet the group along the way that would be fine. Need to get final details from Carol/Betty/Dave/whoevers going.

Anyway, I've got a route planned (sorta) for Sunday. Dave mentioned that we should all meet up for breakfast first. How about Nello's on Woodward in Royal Oak around 9AM? It's just north of 696. It would be centrally located and we would be heading out on 696 anyway for the first part of our journey!

Here is the tentative route:

exit 148A to US 23 South
exit 55 @ Silver Lake Road, turn right
to Whitmore Lake Road, turn left
to Winans Lake Road, turn right
to Hamburg Road, turn left
to MI 36, turn right
to CR D32/S (Dexter-Pinckney Rd), turn left
to Darwin Road, turn right
to Cedar Lake Road, turn right
to HellCreek Ranch 10866 Cedar Lake Road on the left

Ooh, if your going to come to Royal Oak for breakfast, I'll have to put a vote in for the Original Pancake House in Birmingham. (Couple miles away from Royal Oak.) It's at Woodward/13 mile.

I haven't been to Nello's so that would be fine too...but I might be on time for a big apple breakfast at pancake house.

Behind Mr.bs there is a public lot. Going later you will not find a spot on the main street and this lot does keep ya kinda close to the 'row'. Sucks we missed ya.

Is anyone going to the Gibraltar Bike night tonight? Hmmm. Weather looks crummy, maybe check it out another time!
Anyway, the weather tomorrow looks very good! Partly cloudy, temps about 79 degrees.
Ok then, I'll be seeing you all at the Original Pancake House on Woodward tomorrow @ 9:00AM. Can't wait to see Matt devour that apple-pie-pancake thing.

well last night the metro area was SUPPOSED to get hit HARD with rain..... went to work this morning and... rain gauge didnt show **** in it!

So far its been slightly cloudy, some light periods of rain, but its hard to say if its gonna POUR later on say, 7pm-9pm if anyone goes to Gibalter in mt clemens!

Ill check the radar and weather reports and ill update "IF" Ill go up to Gibaltar tonite...

Just keep in mind the Ohop has normally a long wait and very crowded. Also not sure if this was noted blessing at 11,12, and 1. Weather looks great - nice temps and low winds.

2. What is the core temp of a big apple supreme
3. How to turn a bikini top and chaps into an abomination.
4. angry skittles can roll into town and take front row parking in hell
5. We fit nicely into a single parking space.
6. Batman ...has cool gadgets but he has a ****** bike as well
7. If Matts leading be on your toes ... he darts for freeway ramps
8. GPS will only buy us 20 minutes.
9. If you have maps in your pocket ....remember.
10. 5 mile road is not cool.
11. 8 dollar stickers are the bomb.
12. If Dave maps routes it would use DQ's as way points.
13. How to lock my helmet the "right" way
... I could keep going but ya get the point...
