. You and your last minute posts. I really want to go to IMI, going anytime next week? I already made plans with someone but maybe they'll change their mind. I'm getting track pants next week too so I want to try them out.

Are you running bt016s? how do you like them?what size front tire are you using?

Wasn't sure I was going Sat. Until today. I rode the 4 hr. Endurance last Saturday so I am still feeling that one. Not sure about next week yet, I'll know more last minute.

I am running the 016's and have been very happy with the grip and longevity of the tires. I went through the 003rs too fast. Front pressure is pretty important but the price is right. And I am running the 110 width.

Cool I know the area there should be a gas station on 88th and federal so we can meet there pm me your number so I can text you when exactly we will be meeting. For the moment plan on being there at 12:30pm.

4hr endurance huh? that does indeed sound tiring. Thanks bueller999 I plan on getting bt-016s as my replacement tires since they are good on the track and decent for commuting. Last minute next week shouldn't matter for me this time haha

Nice ride guys, sorry for the bit of back and forth. Now at least I know were coal creek is and a fun route to get to Blackhawk (definitely have to go there sometime). Sucks that the stupid mount on the contour split in half. The camera was recovered but the memory is gone, the battery is gone, rear cover, and its scratched to hell. $180 down the drain cause of a stupid design choice by contour.

Sorry to hear about the camera, wish I could have realized what it was so we could have just turned back and got it sooner....but at least it was a good ride. Can't wait to do another, was really fun.

Yep Albach lost my camera on the way to boulder. I'm gonna call the company about it seeing as it wasn't a mounting failure on my part, more like their mount split in half unexpectedly.
I got a map from aurora honda today on good routes in colorado. It said the routes we took are advanced routes lol. So congrats you handled them well. I still think I probably will go for a ride this weekend as well depends on what days you guys want to go.

lol. There were a s*** ton of supermotos there. Almost crashed into a couple of them since they like to just pass whenever they want to haha.

I was there on the red and black SV650 race bike. We were pitted at the far end with all the mini's. I didn't have the 250 with me since I hauled a friends drz out there for him. Thatwas a huge crowd for sure, sorry I didn't run into you. I assume you were on the green 250? You were getting along pretty good and one of the few running predictable lines

That is probably why the sumos were passing close, the unpredictable ones like the guys on the Ducati's usually get a wide birth.

Yeah I was the green one. I was having some issues with my bike though,it popped out of second gear a couple of times after the straight when i downshifted which was kinda weird caused me to just go off a couple times. After it happened the second session for me I called it quits, better safe than sorry. I think I remember your bike now. Got my knee down too yesterday which was awesome.

Yea I saw you off in the dirt one time when I came around. Are you dropping into 1st there? I run a 49 tooth rear out there on my 250 and I never have to get into 1st gear. Going past neutral is not ideal and I usually gear a track bike to avoid it. I bought a seperate sprocket carrier and keep my 45 on one and the 49 on the other. If you cut the chain long enough for the 49 the 45 will still fit at the other end of the adjustment. It also shortens the wheel base for the tight tracks for easier lowspeed turning and stretches it out at HPR for better high-speed stability.

No it was 3-2 downshift and somehow it got in between 2 and 3 which I haven't really had a problem with before. The neutral light didn't come on so I am pretty sure it just got into that void between gears. I started braking and then downshifted and then let the clutch out. Then I started to roll on the gas for the corner and it just rev'ed up. So in the oh **** moment I just went into the dirt instead of fixing to many things at once. Re gearing it probably would be a good idea. Is third a little longer in that gearing?

@maviam1, yeah I have done quite a few group rides with members here. Might try pm'ing those close to your area like luxodave (he is about the closest I know to the springs he is in castle rock). I do a lot of rides in boulder and morrison.

Turned out to be a great day except for the abundance of cart rentals. The little kids in the shifters were fun to watch but the slow rentals were agonizing.

. Yeah those cart rentals were ludicrous, can't believe they made us wait that long as they just putted along. That was the longest I've had to wait in a long time. I liked my new tires on the track but they still felt a little funny, at least I wasn't constantly fighting the bike like when the ircs were on. Super Street sounds like fun at some point in time I probably would be likely to do some racing
