I did both, if you read back a page or two you'll see where I said my plastic toe piece came off; but once i got that back on and got home my footpeg itself was barely hanging on. The bolt had almost completely come out (probably had less than 5 minutes left before it would have fallen off too)

LOCTITE EVERYWHERE

Quick question: for the brake side, do we reuse the spring from the stock set and what do we do with the spring for the brake light?

Bro... you really need to get at least the balls of your feet up on your pegs... I actually ride with almost my toes on the pegs... I can only imagine whats gonna happen when you hit your toe the wrong way and it drags it under the bike... no bueno

I didn't use any of the springs. Of course, that also means when I use my rear brake only my brake light isn't triggered at all. You hand up taging off the two bolts and uh.......U shaped thing at the end of the master cylinder and winding the footpeg directly on to that so no springs are necessary. Unless of course I was totally winging it and failed and simply haven't crashed yet..

It's the perspctive of the video. I HAVE hit the toe of my left foot going through a turn but I up still up on the bike (not leaned off as I should have been) and I had the bike wayyy to far over as well as I had my foot on the shifter about to upshift. As you can see many variables were on the danger side and that's when it happened.

All good though, I knew what was going on, knew what I was doing, and expected some rub and didn't ZOMGWTF when I touched down. Experience isn't an excuse but it keeps the shiny side up

Received mine today.
Is there a reason why the heal guard on the shift side is bent in towards the swingarm? The brake side is completely flat and my experience will other brands are that both sides are completely flat.

Idea?

Word, I have a big pad/thingy/protective region on the inside of my boot that would probably enjoy the clearance you mention.

Ergonomic rear sets? Sayitaintso!

either buy a one of those metric thread gauge tools where you can check the thread size. or you can take your brake bolt to a hardware store and find a metric nut that will fit it and write down the thread size.

You might be able to "rig" something up but it would be difficult. The brake light pressure sensor mentioned earlier is the key to making the rear brake trigger the light.

I stop with both brakes at every stop so my front brake triggers the light anyways, I will take my time getting the sensor, but you should do it soon. (groupbuy? )

Without further ado...I present a teaser pic:
