Please define cowl. In aviation a cowl is the same as a fairing.

I put one on my bike... When u install it on the bike. It locks into the front, but the back of it doesn't... is that right?? I don't even know if I am explain this wrong

there is a rubber insert you place on the back where the seat usually slid onto, it can take a while to get it to place securely as it wears in.

when I received my seat cowl it came with some rubber inserts, one should have been for the hole in the back area so that the thiny on the back part of the cowl can grip into...
