Zombie apocalypse + alien invasion = ??
To all those scifi fans out there, I have a scenario that came to me.
I had a dream the other night and was thinking, if we had a zombie apocalypse like resident evil or silent hill either before or while an alien invasion occurred, who would win? Assuming that the zombies also dont mind eating aliens, would aliens also turn into zombies? Would the aliens just give up on the planet? Zombies are troublesome since the premise behind zombies is viral mutations causing them to become the undead or difficult to kill. Would aliens have the same difficulties that humans would in erradicating zombies? |

1. How close are the biological structures between humans and aliens? 2. Do the aliens have any anti-virals that can prevent zombification or even cure it? 3. Why are the aliens here? A zombie labor force might be ideal since they're not likely to revolt.

But here are my questions. What type of aliens are they? Little grey fleshy men (Paul, Azgard) or big armored ones (Alien, Independence Day). Zombies could certainly eat the grey fleshy ones, they wouldn't be able to get through the armored ones. What's their DNA? Even if a zombie did manage to bite through and get through the "Alien" aliens armor, I'm pretty sure the acid blood might really ruin the zombie's day. Why would the aliens ever get out of their ships and expose themselves to attack?

The zombies and aliens would succumb to the forces of gravity.
Technically, a rotted body can't really do much. Even if the aliens won, they'd turn into zombie aliens, rot away and succumb to gravity. Wait it out.

Yeah never mind all the other impossible and supernatural elements that make up the foundation of zombie lore, suspension of disbelief ends at gravity? Yeah, that's their greatest weakness.

That's why they aren't here already lol.
Gravity keeps dead people in their graves. I think it helps keeps aliens away too. Look at Roswell.. they didn't land so good. hahah Aliens definitely exist somewhere. (related to roswell or not!) I guess zombies do too in the form of ants, for a short amount of time until the host uses their body as an anchor against gravity. Hmph.. all comes back to that odd powerful invisible attractive force..

Strickly from a zombie invasion, as a survior, all you'd need to do is wait it out. It takes energy to move muscles, and eventually the zombies would "starve" enough they wouldn't be able to muster any more energy to move. There wouldn't be enough survivors to feed all those zombies.
Oh, and the rotting flesh. Eventually their muscles would just eventually rot away and bones would start falling off. I figure if you can survive 30 days, most of the zombies should be *dead* (as in no longer able to move), too weak to catch you (not enough energy to move their muscles) or their leg muscle has rotten away thus there leg bones fall off. Yes, I've watched too many zombie movies.

zombies = predictable like a hungry animal.
aliens = formidable advanced race at first but somehow defeated by the most stupid ways such as throwing water on them or getting a drunk Randy Quaid to fly a fighter jet into their mother ship and having Will Smith yell "AWW Hell Naw!". crazy midget clowns = run like heck. |
