I bumped into him mom and siblings last night at Target when looking for an iPhone 5 case (Target doesn't seem to carry either the phone or the accessories). They said he was good but had recently had an MRI related to the accident. I forgot and, for some reason, I assumed he'd be fully recovered by now, so I was surprised to find out that he was still recovering.

Paging @gilmorec61! This is Ninjette forums, requesting that you check in with us a bit more directly. We haven't heard from you since July!

Hi everyone, I'm back! So yeah my wreck kinda sucked but im completly healed from it. Apart from one more MRI i have to take im good. Arm healed up quick and scratches and bruises healed up clean as well. Will know within this next week if my head is %100. Im %99 sure it is so, hope for the best!

As far as the bike went, it was totalled. But, i now have a new bike, a 2006 Kawasaki Ninja ZX636. I got it about 2 months ago, i dont know how or why i got back on a bike so quick but i am glad i did because if i didnt i know life wouldnt be the same.

Anyways sorry its been so long since i last posted, ive been super busy with school, but im gonna try to stay on here

Heres some pics of my new bike:

Wow! That exactly the bike I wanted. Be careful on that thing! It's great to know you're doing well and back on the road, but I also want to know that you are gearing up as much as your budget allows.

That sure is a strange accident scene!

You can say be careful again. I got my first ticket ever the 2nd day i owned it for accelerating too fast. Definently wouldnt have happened if i was on my 250. And yeah ive got a better helmet along with a riding jacket that i wear religiously now. About to get some boots as well.

Wow. I didn't know they could ticket for that as long as both wheels are on the ground.

Hopefully they throw it out for being your first.

Yeah i didnt know either. I went to court last week for it and they did throw it out. just have to pay a $30 court fee and have to take a defensive driving course. Much better than the original $210 fine. And yeah didnt do a wheelie or a burnout or nothing.

That sucks, but it's good that you're alright.

That is a sweet bike. I've always been fond of the 05-06 636's. They just look so classic, without being dated.

Yeah it really sucked. I really do miss my 250, there were things about it that were nice.

And thanks, i agree with you. For the age, they look pretty slick, and i dont think they'll ever look like an 'older' bike if you know what im saying.

Glad to see that you are back riding again! And love the new ride. I agree with everything that has been said about it. In my opinion, it looks better than the new 636. I know I would rather have an 05-06 636 over a 2013 636. Like you said, I don't think it will ever look old. But who knows what the future sport bikes will look like.

Try to keep that beauty away from the front end of Ford Explorers.
