Isn't Willow Springs just north of LA?

how much closer do you want it to be?

Willow Springs is the closest track for me, too, so in my book, 100 miles doesn't seem like anything. Get your self to the track, you lucky bastard!!!

Thunderhill is 180 miles from me, Infineon is 75 miles, Laguna Seca is 77 miles, and Buttonwillow is 220 miles. I still try and get to all of them as often as I can. If you're going up the night before, it makes everything that much easier the next morning.

ONLY 100 miles!?!?
dude that's not even far. If you love riding and wanna hit the track, 100 miles is not bad at all.

Thunder Hill up here is over 3 hours away from us, and people go there all the time form the Bay Area, and even head down to Willow Springs

The other side is the scratched up side. lol Im not fixing it either, its a trackbike damn it.

I wear my motocross boots because it helps keep my knee armor in the proper place and they are comfortable. Not to mention alot better for protection when you lowside and lay your bike on your leg. They held up well and did there job in my crash. They did offer great protection for my foot, ankle, shin and calf.

lol but wouldn't it be dangerous to ride 100 miles after being at the track all day ? The furthest i've gone on the 250 is about 50 miles each way. I definitely will have to get out there someday soon but I don't have a set of leathers and im kind of broke

hahah! dude, just borrow a truck and load it in the back, or rent a trailer. This other guy I know puts his R6 inside his van when he goes to the track. There's more than one way to get there than to ride up.. contact any others in your local forum going to willow springs.. ride sharing is many times welcomed by others (to save the other guy on gas money and/or hotel room if you stay over the night before, etc.)

ah, I see. no worries bro, whether riding track or street, as long as the bike operates soundly, that's all that matters
