Show us your classic Ninja 250F!

Don't get me wrong.. I love the 08/09s.. but since I have the "classic" one.. it would be nice to see some pics of those.. plus its good to see how other people have modded the way theirs looks to get ideas..

Here is mine...

Here's my 1994 ninjette. The mods were done by a previous owner who apparently was a bike mechanic and rebuilt the bike from the ground up before selling it to the guy I ended up buying it from. And yes, it is rather loud and deep throated for a ninjette with the 2-into-1 Yoshi exhaust.

I love the 08/09s.. you can't fault the way they look in any way.... I think that if I were to sell my 250 and get into something else it would be a 650R though.. the ZX6R is more money and doesnt offer the comfortable riding position that mine has...

the pre 08 ones have great power and stability though.. not sure if and when I will 'upgrade' to something else.. note that upgrade is a relative and somewhat sarcastic term..

Great thread. I'm honestly not a big fan of the newest generation. All show and no go IMHO. People who can't tell the difference between an '09 Ninja 250 and real super sport just don't know bikes. The brakes for one thing are a DEAD give away. I can spot that weak little single front rotor from a mile away :P

When I go outside, and see my awesome bike I thank god I paid less than half of what yours cost new

I'll be contributing mine to this thread later, I don't have my pics at work with me.

I gotta say, I do love the way the older bikes look. Technically, these aren't the classics though, that's the '86-'87 bikes. But I'll still contribute since I have one of the "old" ones.

This one's a bit old, but it's of Fury at White Sands National park. This is before I put on the seat cover which is in the second picture. The funny thing is, this is Fury's bad side!

Custom Seat Creations does some really great work. You should all get one of these!!! (And yes, I know, my bike is very dirty. I keep thinking about washing her when I can't at that time. Oi! )

And, finally, the LED mod I did. Sorry the pic's a bit blurry. There wasn't much for the camera to focus on.

That's Fury! Enjoy!

Hate to tell ya, but you didn't fix the photo problem in your edit. There's no pics in it. I looked at the addresses you had linked in your post (by looking at the post quoted) and there's nothing there.

Maybe take a look at the permissions on that picture album in the ninjette.org pics area. The code in your post looks fine to me, and I can see the pics, but I'd still be able to see them if they were protected from other users, and maybe that's what you have the privacy settings set to.

So here's my 1995 250. I just snapped a quick picture after putting on the Muzzy, which sounds killer without being overly killer. I may add some more pictures later, but I'm pretty friggin lazy. Obviously I have done the fender elimination, flush mount signals, and it's got a double bubble windscreen. Some suspension work has been done, its a lot stiffer than stock, feels great to be honest. I rode a stock '07 250 and I couldn't believe how soft the suspension was. The 2007 also had 3x the miles of the 95, and it was just not nearly as clean as this bike. The picture from my cell phone doesn't do it justice; everyone thinks it's only a few years old when I tell them to guess its age hehe.

The bike has 6100 miles on it. It was in storage for over 10 years. The guy I bought it from bought it while it was in storage, "restored" it, taught his son how to ride on it and then sold it to me. Now I'm using it to build up my street chops (after a decade in the dirt) before ultimately moving to a 600 (liter bikes are just silly) 400ccs in the dirt was enough to control, I can't even imagine 1000 on the street. Anyways, heres my baby.

Edit: the purple wheels are stock. I get asked that a lot, lol.

That's my grandma, douche. She's cooler than you will ever be.

I work on my bike at her house cause I don't have a garage nor my tools at my apartment.

Nah, it's a racebike and the turn signal/choke controls have been removed.
The length is the same as stock, or a little shorter.
