wheel alignment

Started the front sprock swap by building the conduit-ground clamp-pointy screw tool..to my surprise...with just 300 miles out of the dealer...swingarm pivot bolt to castle nut centers was off by about 1/8" side to side. Being a noob mechanic...figured I might be using the tool wrong. Rear tire showed even wear BUT....those blue and red rings around the front tire....they were like new on one side but gone on the other with noticeable wear on one side of the front tire.
So, my first question is....are the blue and red stripes from the factory on both sides of the tire to begin with ?
Nope...I haven't been riding around in circles.
See, I've been amazed at how agile this bike is with no noticeable unevenness turning in...although "look ma-no hands"coasting has taken a lot of attention. Never gave it a thought though.
Now...this is my first jette....coming off an FZ6 @ 110lbs heavier...so I'm willing to admit that what maybe I'm feeling is the light weight of the bike less than the agility...what might I look for in handling to confirm what the tool and tire shows. To me, so far, the bike drives better than anything I've had. But, I haven't had a modern lightweight before this.

I'm not sure if the stripes are even on both sides of the tire. But even if they are even, and they rub off unevenly, it doesn't necessarily mean the wheels are out of alignment (or in alignment). It's common for the left side of tires on street bikes to wear somewhat quicker, only because many roads are crowned and we ride on the right side of the road here in the US.
