I want this though with the flush mount turn signals but its just so much $$$ for all of it
Yeah, gotta love Cali with all your rules. We don't even have to have turn signals period on bikes in VA.

Those 20 degree snowy Ohio winters aren't looking so bad now are they? at least I don't have beautiful California weather to tease me whilst I'm unable to ride

When are you getting those fairings done? The last couple of projects I did my team painted our final designs neon green and black and it was awesome. I'm sure yours is will come out sweet

prolly shoot it this week if I got those stratches covered good enough today. I need to ask my Uncle if I can shoot paint over spot putty though. Im not sure. If I can Ill make sure it gets done this week.

for the sake of being cheap, and making it east on myself im just painting the bike black. I will be doing green decals that match the pegs and rims (when I get around to doing those) I figure the good thing about doing it this way is I can change the color scheme in the future but just rePC'ing the pegs and rims, and changing decal colors and anything else I have that color. what makes me think this way is if my wife really decides to get into riding (she keeps saying she wants to, but idk) and wants a pink bike. pink and black bike. just get some pink decals trade rims with someone and do the same thing I did with the green with the pink. So that is one of the reasons for why I am doing it this way....

SUPER JET BLACK!!!

lol whatever that means... its just a cheap gloss black I picked up. There are imperfections but im hoping I can get them out. But like my uncle said. Once they are on and the decals are on and everything the few I prolly wont be able to get out will most likely not be noticeable.

Pretty stoked to get it all on and start riding again. We will see if it happens this weekend. Id like to but Im not betting on it. I have a lot to this weekend. :/

It must just be the lighting then. Either that or I need to get my eyes checked.

Im SUPER picky dude. little tiny imperfections bug the **** out of me. So it looks GREAT to most people. I only see the imperfections. lol thats just how i am...

Its pretty shiny though so im overall pretty happy with it. I just gotta save up now to get new tires so I can PC the rims Green I think Ill do that before I get decals. I kind of like it bare. We will see how it looks on the frame.

lol he is so much bigger than me. He felt so bad to. Its not his fault he was helping my uncle move my stuff cause I was on the phone and he thought it was completely dry.

Alex I actually went cheap and did a single stage paint. However there are like 4 coats on the gas tank. So I should still be able to sand it down and buff and polish it out.

My uncle was bragging about how he got no runs then we picked up the rear fairing and one had a run on the back side. I could repaint it, but I probably wont because its on the underside and no one is going to see it and im impatient.

gonna let it chill in the paint booth for the next few days. I may get to it this weekend, I may not. Not sure yet. Depends on my schedule.

So I got all the stuff moved over to wear my bike is. I started to install the Proton FM's and got confused. didnt have my comp to search the DIYs and my son was driving me insane. so I just went home. I dont really care about the super bowl tomorrow, so im skipping out on church and fixing my car with my buddy at 10AM then when we are done with that Ill head over to my Gpas and get a little more done hopefully. Id like to at least get the plastics back on and such. shimming the carbs may have to wait. Ill have to see how ****** it sounds and feels I guess... although I dont want to take it all apart again :/ so we will see what I decide. I know I need to shim them though as they could have used a shimming pre slip on anyways.

another problem I forsee is the whole putting the rubber pieces back on, as well as remembering what goes where.... I didnt organize it well at all cause I am a total dumbass ugh.

Also I have to figure out what I am going to do about my bar ends... I guess I shouldnt really be to worried about putting it back together then taking it apart again as I will have to at least take the rear apart again to install the integrated rear light...

I imagine the seat cowl will get here monday or tuesday as well.. The front fairings will all be coming off soon since I just got some LED strips in. Ill have to figure out how imma wire that in as well. I may just cheat and buy a kit then try and splice these ones in if possible as well...

ugh so much to do. Someone come help me. I need company.

Lol, it'll get easier man. I've taken the bike apart and put it back together so many times. It takes like 2 seconds to take the fairings off and put them on now. Once you memorize where everything goes, it won't feel like such a pain lol.

Yeah I bet thats true, since its only my first time with everything off. :/

I am going to have a hard time remembering where the specific pieces of rubber go on the plastic too :/

gonna finish this bitch today or tomorrow.

By finish I mean have it rideable...

Ill still need to do the wheels and buy some more stuff. LED kit, Shorty Levers, Tires,.. and I think that's actually it.

Decals are in question now. I might keep it clean with no decals

ha thanks

fairings need to go on. but I fired her up and she sounded great.

But Oh I forgot to say. I think my gas gauge is broken? It may have gotten wet but idk? what would cause it to read empty? I think there is enough gas in there for it to register some?

also that pic sucks. Ill have a few good ones up tomorrow. Im already hating how dirty the black gets. There are finger prints all over it. lol

Should be rideable tomorrow. Complete? mehh idk. Trying to pay stuff off then next step will be tires so I can powder coat the rims, and do all that bullshit. then shorty levers, then LEDs. Think that will be pretty much it unless we get a our HID projector/Halo set up...
