[motorcycle.com] - 2012 Harley-Davidson Softails and Dynas Recalled for Brake Issue
 Harley-Davidson is recalling 19,015 Softail and Dyna motorcycles from the 2012 model year because of a problem with the front brake master cylinder. The recall affects the Switchback, Super Glide Custom, Street Bob, Fat Bob, Wide Glide, Softail Slim, Blackline, Fat Boy, Fat Boy Lo, Heritage Softail Classic and Softail Deluxe, all produced between Aug. 22, 2011 and Feb. 24, 2012. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the threads on the brake line banjo bolt may become corroded, potentially leading to a loss of braking fluid and compromising front brake performance. Harley-Davidson dealers will flush the front brake line and inspect the front brake master cylinder on affected models. If necessary, dealers will replace the master cylinder at no charge.
