[motorcycle.com] - Spidi Announces The 4 Season Motorcycle Jacket

Ideal for riding 365 days a year, thanks to the Step-in-Clothing system, Spidi 4 Season motorcycle jacket is an unstoppable touring companion. The water repellent treatment offers high level of rain-resistance, while the detachable H2Out membrane makes the 4 Season totally waterproof. Moreover, the removable thermo lining wearable as a stand alone, extends the riding experience from summer to winter.

We all know that; when talking about touring, “versatility” is the key word. Riders need products they can trust, something to rely on; something that won’t let them*down during a heavy thunderstorm nor get too hot under a burning sun. This gear has to last thousands of miles, pass dozens of borders and being abused for most of the time.

That’s why SPIDI’s engineers developed the ultimate equipment for expeditions. 4 Season has been first conceived during long tours across northern Africa and Europe, taking notes of what the “State of the Art” was at the moment. Then they raised the bar.

The outer shell is made with higher grade Polyamide featuring a water repellant treatment, so to reduce rain absorption as well as improving the resistance to stains and dirt. Proprietary Extra Tenax reinforcements have been placed on the impact areas, while Flex Tenax provides ease of movements where it’s needed most.

On the inside, SPIDI’s Safety Lab *equipped the 4 Season jacket with a full kit of*EN1621-1 certified Forcetech protections on shoulders and elbows, and is also possible to enhance the safety level by adding one of the*Warrior back protectors (certified EN1621-2 Level 1 or Level 2) and one of the*prEN1621-3 certified Warrior Chest or*Thorax Warrior protectors.

For the rider’s comfort*the world famous H2Out waterproof and breathable membrane (removable) ensures the rider won’t get wet under the rain, while the removable thermal liner provides a warm and cozy climate during*the coldest rides; as a side note, the nice thermo liner can be worn as a jacket itself, *and can match both the H2Out membrane or the outer shell.

4 Season boasts *a variety*of vents, with huge intakes on the chest, arms and back. Many pockets are present to carry cameras,*lenses*and tools for the big outdoors.

As a matter of fact, 4 Season is simply ready for everything.
