SE PA route suggestions wanted

dont know if this is the right forum for this, but do any of you PA/MD riders know good ways from the area of lewisville where MD 213 comes into PA up to the valley forge park area? prefer 2-laners & backroads, but dont mind occassional big roads if its a lot more practical. from looking at maps im thinking 841 & 926, but not sure how to get across the main line area. thanks.

I think this is the area you're asking about:

Does that help?

Lots of great roads up and around Valley Forge, West Chester, heading out west towards Exton etc.

apparently theres some road called the "delaware dragon" which runs into pennsylvania. heard good things about it, but as i dont live in SE PA anymore sadly, I can't tell you where it is. I try to get back there once a month, so I'll have to do some exploring next time I'm there.

I lived in west chester/exton growing up, and learning to drive. Lots of fun roads in the area. West Chester gets to be a bit more populated with less room to romp and lots more cars.

Creek road off 1 is great. 926 isn't that much fun, it's basically straight.

thanks to everyone for the info. if there is some chance of a group getting together to ride some of these roads sometime i would be interested.

the reason for my original question is that i am trying to piece together a loop down thru cape may, across the ferry, and then up thru maryland back to the buxmont (PA) area. if anyone else would be interested in this that would be great. i am thinking next summer when the days are longer.

i got out some yesterday even tho it was a little chilly. 309 - 378 - 412 - 212 - 611 - 32. saw a gas line at the turkey hill in hellertown, dont know if it was jersey folks or local people getting gas for their generators -- still a lot of folks w/o power. also a lot of trees down along the river.

have a great week. --eric

My brother lives in Exton. @nycsteve has family out a little further West. Maybe we can plan something where we swing down and go for a ride.

I just came home from PA. i was riding with miles and brandon yesterday. Fappy couldn't meet us on time but was close by. Sometime during the spring we can try to get a group ride going. Maybe Eddie and Dan will join!?
