SOB! Add me to the list
damdamdamdamdamdamdamdamdamnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!! It happened ten minutes ago as I was getting ready for a short ride. Thought I had put the kick stand back down and couldn't save her in time. The bike gently kissed the ground with only a scrape on the left mirror, turn signal and clutch lever. The shift lever is slightly bent and no plastic touched concrete as far as I can tell. The 250 is freaking heavy when it goes beyond the point of no return at a standstill. Fairly easy to pick up off the ground though I don't recommend it. I feel so sh*tty now I could almost cry. Two years and 13k miles and not a scratch erased by one case of SFB.

Just got done really looking at my bike. No scratches to the plastic just left mirror, blinker, shift and clutch levers, rear spool, feeler peg and little knobby thing on the kickstand got a little fooked (not enough to shed tears). Good news for now is that my "kawi-click" has gone away! And I just bought another cam chain tensioner.

It sucks man, for sure. Don't worry, the first one is always the worst.
concerning your kawaki click, which oil are you using? Mine went away when I went from 10-40 to 20-50 in the summer. Can't wait to experiment and see if 5-30 will fix it this winter....

Damn clicking came back. I'm using mobil 10-40 synthetic right now but am thinking about going with the rotella stuff in the future. I'll have to try 20-50.

If it's the cam chain tensioner making the noise the oil you use won't matter because the tensioner isn't lubed by engine oil, only the grease it was packed with. Which is why it need periodic relubrication.
