What is you Pre Ride Ritual? if you have one - Page 2

I was wondering if any of you guys or gals here have some sort of ritual or something you do before you take off on your ninja for a ride...or am I the only one?

It can be anything!

Before I ride off I like to say a little prayer asking God to get my bike and I to our destination safely and in one piece.

God has become part of my ATGATT

I'm just sayin', I'll take all the protection I can get out there.

I also talk to the bike a little bit..tell her where were goin and that were gonna operate smoothly and as one

Call me crazy...

personally i draw a mini pentagon and sacrifice a goat stuffed-animal to help keep me safe

Walk outside and get smacked in the face by 115 degrees
Uncover and Unchain her.
Check tire pressure.
Warm her up.
Gear up - ATGATT (as the saying goes..."I'm to pretty for road rash."

)
Double check I unchained her.
Ride off into the distance with a **** eating grin on my face.

use the bathroom. nothing sucks worse than having to go while you ride. then I put on my gear while it warms up

Put pants, boots and jacket on inside where its nice and cool then head out to the garage and curse the sun. Give the bike a good once over and curse the blow drier type wind. Put in ear plugs then the helmet and finally the gloves. Roll the bike out of the garage and ask myself if I really want to ride today. Close the garage and start the bike. Once its started an idling I take off, no need to idle excessively just take it easy to allow the oil to circulate and the bike to fully warm up. Finally, realize how much I love to ride despite the surface of the sun temperatures.
