Ninja 300 rearsets fit on pregen!!

So I was clearing out garage by tossing extras laying around. I’d put newest parts on bikes and toss old stuff. Had set of factory Ninja 300 rearsets laying around, figured I’d replace oldest parts with them. That would be 2002 pre-gen street bike!!!

What’d ya know, they fit!! On right side, 3rd mounting point above brake-master was non-issue, it just doesn’t get used. I’m sure there’s tonnes of factory Ninja 300 rearsets in boxes at rear of people’s garages just dying to be used! Gives pregen more modern look!

Does this provide any riding advantage or just looks?

Also this would mean that aftermarket rearsets also would fit the pregen, right?

Just looks on pregen. I've noticed that kickstand on one side and exhaust-pipe on other will touch down before pegs would (without feelers).

Although I prefer my feet a little further back, about 4" more.

So yes, aftermarket 300 rearsets would fit on pregen 250!

Great information! I'll have to see if I can locate a set for myself.

I've been considering this little upgrade but also tossing around the idea of going with the Chinese sporty rearsets they make for the 250/300.
