Tug of war?!? Is that seriously an Olympic sport still? I thought they got rid of that back in the 1920s along with pigeon shooting and bar room darts.

I like the cycling and aquatics events in the summer and snowboarding and hockey for the winter.

I got the list off of Wiki, so take some of it with a grain of salt.

Actually, that one is no longer done.

Women's beach volleyball

Most of the track & field stuff
Boxing

One that I want to see as part of the Olympics is Karate, it just missed out on 2012 & 2016 (golf in 2016 anyone)

for me in Summer Olympics: Track and field , marathon, table tennis, archery, cycling, fencing and weightlifting are my favorites but swinning and gymnastics are pretty interesting too.

I like just about all the WInter Olympics sports except for curling and figure skating. There seem to be a lot fewer "Junk sports" in the winter Olympics

What he said.

But seriously, I'll watch whatever is showing on the TV. I like watching people do amazing things that I will never be that good at.

I love the Olympics because I get to see a lot of sports I've participated in but never get to watch.

BIG props to NBC for showing everything this time around, and also for spending more time at the venue and less time with idiotic puff background pieces. For decades the summer seemed to be all about gymnastics and the winter all about figure skating, with some other stuff thrown in. Now all the sports are there.

The only thing that's frustrating me is the sports that are supposed to be on in certain time slots aren't. I'm trying to record the stuff I care about and keep missing it. There's always replay on the web, though, which is cool.

Shooting (3-position rifle)
Shooting (Pistol - as in bullseye target shooting)
Archery
Cycling (though I've never raced, I love riding fast)
Rowing
Sailing
Kayaking
Fencing
