Skip MD and come one more state to the south. VA is much better.

Yes with higher cost of living, higher taxes, higher crime rates, ect.....

Other than that geography of mountains to sea shore is similar.

crime is dependent on where you're located, where I am the cost of living and crime rates aren't that bad. Taxes sure but VA isn't the best on those either.

I live in rural md a bit north of towson and I just looked up the crime rate. I am not the least bit surprised that the chance of me being a victim of violent crime is 1/3000 (as opposed to MD average 1/211) because it's rural the cost of living is lower in exchange for longer commutes, this doesn't change much state to state.

Would I want to live in baltimore city? sure, but only if I can concealled carry a glock with me at all times

You posted a picture of what looked like you getting ready to go for a ride. The thread title "Ready for battle" made it sound like you were ready to "battle" with traffic. Don't post a pic like that on a motorcycle forum, or any social media site, and not expect to get a few comments about gear, or lack thereof.

And yeah, live and let live or whatever, but you won't see me riding with anyone who doesn't at least make an attempt to protect themselves in the event of an accident. Call me a jerk or whatever, but I don't wanna be there if they splatter themselves all over he pavement. I quit riding with one of my good friends when he traded his ninja for a chopper and then stopped wearing any gear, including a helmet.

I normally pass on these types of comments. But.. there is absolutely 0% proof that she was about to ride.

Anyone with any amount of decency would hold back a bit
Anyone is a brain would research, her post history
Anyone that is human, shouldn't expect to be ******** on the internet by posting in a forum of common interest riders and peers.

The pic is what it is, nothing more, a rider in a driveway. Don't make it more than that and MOVE ON! Having fun and taking a pic with a TMNT backpack and referencing "battle" in the title just shows you're not putting 2 + 2 together. Maybe I am having a bad day... but common, get a grip.

I got grumpy when I essentially got a pat on the head and a biscuit for being atgatt. Over it, life presses on. Forums are hard to decipher, but the quoted post in particular was made in jest. Hence all the toothy grin. Toothy grin us my favorite little smiley on this forum

Hey I'll admit it, I made a mistake but I'm not here to insult anyone like some of the other posters @csmith12. I think a few of us just didn't get the point of the pic. I honestly didn't notice the backpack, or even what bike it was in the picture. All I saw was a lot more skin than I wanna see from anyone riding a motorcycle and I jumped to a conclusion.
