Question which boot is better?

which boot is better the TCX S-sportour or Sidi fusion. I want a comfortable boot and it needs to be reliable i don't want the stitches to come apart after a couple weeks lol.. thanks

I would say the TCX would breath a little more and it would be a tiny bot more flexible. On the other hand the Sidi look more robust and would last longer, they also look better.

If you get a chance, try them both on. I think protection and durability wise, they will be the same, in all honesty. TCX has developed a very strong reputation. Sidi typically caters to a very specific type of foot.

2011 smx-plus. No seriously they are super comfy, I was shocked at how comfy they are for a track boot.

The TCX sporttour are probably more comfortable than the sidi fusion. Do you have a narrow foot? Sidi's cater more to narrow feet.

They have been crash tested, not a scratch

I was actually worried they might have broken from slamming into the frame of a car at 25mph but nope

I don't know how useful my opinion is, since I just bought these boots (2011 SMX-Plus) yesterday and haven't even worn them while riding yet, but... Seriously, it's a damn comfortable boot! lol

Goes on like a pair of slippers and feels just as comfortable. I was wearing them around the house for a few hours just 'cause

I have Sidi. I really like them. Not as uncomfortable as they look.

I just bought a pair of TCX - S Sportours today. I was comparing them to the Alpinestar MX-5s. I have a basic overview of why I went with them in my "Gear" thread. Keep in mind I am a complete noob and I don't have a bike yet.

Neither one will come apart at the stitching (unless you go scudding down the road in them). I have a similar pair of Sidi (B-2 Gortex) which I've worn almost everyday for the last 2 & a half years, they squeak & click when you walk around in them, but on the bike they're very comfortable.

a little out of your price range, but i love my Sidi ST's. i went with them because i have skinny calfs and the ST's have an adjustable calf. made walking 10 times easier compared to the cheaper boots that aren't adjustable. plus, the additional ankle protection sold me. just something to consider.
