For those with hardluggage, do you ever take them off after installation?

Just wondering, with all the uses of hard luggage and several DIY's on installation. How many of you with these types of installations do you ever remove and reinstall the trunks/saddlebags or has it been so useful that it's basically stuck on the bike?

I don't have hard luggage on the ninjette, but on other bikes with the capability, I only have it on when I need it.

Currently have trunk installed, stays on 100% so far. Thinking about saddlebags next, maye not need those on all the time but we will see.

I keep my tailbag on 99% of the time -- I only take it off if I absolutely know I won't need any kind of storage (very rare!). My rack is embedded in the seat, so it's a bit of a pain to swap it out for the stock seat. (oops, just noticed that this was posted in the 2008+ Ninjette section. Mine's a pre gen, FWIW)
