We need another forum...

I'd like to suggest a "Spotted" forum... I've seen these on other sites and they can be fun. It's where you post when you see another biker...

For example, I saw a blue/orange/silver 250 heading East on 520 from Seattle to Bellevue this morning at about 8:15 am PST... White/pastel purple helmet and silver jacket.

I'll consider it. My rule of thumb for adding new forum areas is if there is already content to start it off right that is now jumbled in another forum. In other words, if there are a number of "spotted" threads/posts in general, then maybe it would make sense to create its own forum where those threads can have a home. But I don't believe that creating a new forum automatically creates topics/threads, and I don't like empty forums sitting there not being used; I feel it hurts the board and makes it harder to use and less user-friendly.

So post up the sightings you see, encourage others to do the same, and if there's a reasonable and repeatable amount, I've got no problem with creating another forum for it.
