Late post bump.....
When doing the 2013 IBR, I was running Michelin Pilot Road 3's on my FJR. I also run these tire on my 250. I have been getting 13.5+ out of a rear and around 16-18K on the front. That got me up to the Rally starting point, the IBR itself, and then back home with enough tread to ride it some more and do at least one one-day rally that Fall. Now I am running the PR4 GT on my FJR. Too soon to tell with the rear but the front has over 10K on it and it still looks brand new. This is very encouraging. Seems like a really good tire. Just did the Void rally this past weekend. Rode one full day in the rain and never had any problems with slipping... just rock solid the whole time. Just food for thought and an observation. Certainly don't want to get a tire ****-storm string started. I am out of popcorn...
