Main cause: van running the right trying to make a left hand turn into oncoming traffic. The car was maintaining it's speed from far back since the light had just turned green and swerves to avoid hitting the van in the middle of the lane into the biker.

Poor biker.

Was there even another straight lane? It kinda looks like he blasted through a right turn only lane.

Was there enough time to see this coming and run the red light and move up 5-7'?
