Is the stock clutch lever compatible with the ex500 clutch perch?

Pretty much the title. I'm really sick of these crappy folding/extendable/adjustable levers from ebay on my bike, and I'd like to swap in the stock ones. Brake perch is the regular 250 one, but the clutch perch is off a 500 obviously. Would like to avoid the headache of slipping the single-piece ring mount back on. Yeah yeah, it's not that much work, but I've done nothing but maintenance on this bike for like two weeks and I'm tired of it. Also I'm a lazy bastard.

First thing I thought of, but they don't match (250 levers have finger detents, 500 levers are smooth). Doesn't really bother me, but I've seen prospective bike buyers raise a stink about tiny meaningless things like that before.

Then again, why would I wanna sell my bike to somebody like that...

Buy a set of 500 levers and replace both (rather than just the one) so they match? It would still be wrong for the bike, but they'd at least match each other.

I assume that since the 500 lever won't fit in the 250 perch (the reason for swapping to the 500 perch, right?), that the 250 lever wouldn't fit in the 500 perch either. It's not impossible, but it's less likely that both levers would fit in one perch, but only one lever would fit the other perch.

Good new is that the EX500 brake lever fits the same as the EX250 brake lever. Just buy an inexpensive set of OE EX500 levers and you'll have matching adjustable levers. I'm with Bill here.

Problem solved.
