Gas leak...?!?!

When I fill up my bike go park it and come out later or the next day there's a big stain under it...

it peed its pants at night lol
no but anyone have any ideas?

The gas is oil coloured, but because it drips over some grime which changes the colour...first i thought it was oil which scared me, but today I smelled it as it was leaking and it's gas.

1st things first; I'd suggest taking the side fairing off and check the fuel line / petcock.

It's either that or your carb bowls are leaking.

Solution shouldn't be too hard, just check to see where the leak is coming from.

Sounds like maybe it may have been overfilled and once the fuel starts to expand and the bike is leaned to the side on the kick stand, then some fuel is being lost in the overflow tube that dumps under the bike.

This.
Specially if you "topped it off"
Happens to me when I top it off or fill it up over the rim. (usually an accident)

You guys are awesome! I was wondering what that tube was for. At first I thought the previous owner screwed up and couldn't figure out where to put it.

I did this. Once. Was trying to figure out my fuel gauge issues (before I bothered to read up and found that they are garbage), so I overfilled way past the internal rim.

About 45 min later, I started smelling gas from the living room. Found a nice puddle in the garage.
