Data Logging

I saw an older post on this but instead of necroing that I decided to make a new one.

Disclaimer: I am not fast and I did not get into stats because of trackdays. I've loved analyzing numbers since my days in MMOs, racing bicycles, etc. I would log how many breaths in a day I take if I had enough time. I will over analyze things to death...and then follow it into the afterlife.

Anyways, I'm curious what others are using?

Currently I'm using Push and then importing it to Harry's Laptimer. Then I'll either export that to Circuit Tools and/or of course Dashware (for as long as that's still around). The newer GoPros also offer some data but I basically use that to line up the real data to my video.

I also backed these guys the other year... But still waiting...

Ive got an Aim Solo, wish it was compatible with Mac, then I could really analyze my laps.

I am using a old smartphone and bluetooth GPS with harry's laptimer. Works good enough for what I am using it for.

I tried a number of data logging things. After spending a bunch of money I pointed a go pro at the dash. My dash has a Koso RX 2 dash with dual exhaust temp readout underneath.

What I get is the rpm reading as I go through the gears and a time reference. And the EGT at full RPm and I can see the Tach reaction to the nitrous. Plus a visual of my place on the track. I am doing one mile speed trials so seeing the 1/4 , 1/2 and 3/4 mile markers is important to what I'm doing.

I went super cheap for mine, free version of the Track Addict app on my iPhone in my vest pocket of my leathers. I then transcribe all the info into a spreadsheet and do my analysis that way.

I got one of the SV Racing timers, but haven't had a chance to set it up and use it at the track.
