Greetings from Vandenberg

Figured I would finally create an account and say hello! I've been riding for just over 10 years, on a Z1000 for the past almost 6. Picked up a 2012 Ninja 250 and looking forward to getting it running! It won't win any awards for best looking, but I'm looking forward to the small bike life!

Welcome, you're gonna love it! Having come from big bikes, I can say nothing beats the fun of the 1/4-liter

Looking forward to it! Big bikes definitely have their place, luckily they can co-exist with smaller bikes

What year Z1 did you have? I see the mid-2000s on clist out here pretty often, they look like a hoot. Looks like they'd be good for a wheelie or two...

That is true and 100% correct and I know by experience as well. Once you get it running be careful the 250 has its good and bad moments. I went from a 1000 to a 2008 Kawasaki ninja 250r EX250j and lay down the bike more I ever done in my life because I’m so used to a 1000 cc only because I push myself on the 250 to see how far I can push it, but that me living on the edge of bike riding.

I came from all sorts of bikes in my time... when I got this Ninja I was totally surprised at how much power it had and it's ability to cruse at 70 mph+ it's a 250cc that thinks it is a 650cc ! a really surprising machine !
