Removing rear turn signals
I've googled quite a bit but come up empty handed; how do I remove my rear turn signals from the fender bracket? I removed the screw holding the metal cover on, removed the metal cover, and then.... Nothing. They seem stuck, or I'm missing something. Any help would be amazing.

Nothing clear in the manual but it does loo like you remove the screw & plate then pop them off.

The rubber fits snugly in to the fender. Pull harder. Unplug them first. Use a flathead to get some leverage between the rubber/fender if you need.

Disconnect the wires first. They have no slack and are sort of tied down.

Yeah, I've got them disconnected, doing a fender delete. I just couldn't manage to get them off of there, even with a screwdriver prying at it. Gonna try at it again in a bit. Worst comes to worst, they'll break, and I'll just have to wait a few days for my integrated tail light to come. *shrug*
Edit: I managed to get it. Didn't realize before that a black metal plate snapped out to allow the rubber to give way and be removed from the bracket. Success! Thanks again for the help. ^_^ Last futzed with by DanteCoal; February 3rd, 2016 at 10:05 PM. |
