rice burner mufflers?

idk if this is a crazy stupid idea or not, but has anyone ever thought of taking cheap rice burner mufflers and using them on a bike? like these-

OK first thing
1. WHY????????
2. They would require a lot of modification to use.
3. They would not have the back pressure needed for the tiny 250
You are better off going with a pipe the is ment for the pregen. It might cost more but in the long run youll spend less on repairs.

i'll have to agree w/cory on this one...seems like alot of work and am not sure how it would affect performance.
am saving up for the AREA P pregen set up...u see that?

The inlet on that muffler is 3" and others please correct me if I am wrong but our midpipe is 1' to 1 1/2" at the most which means you would have to use an adapter. With that big of an inlet and outlet you might as well just have a strait pipe.
