So I had to go up north this weekend and I finally get to read the Motorcyclist mag. from cover to cover while I'm on the plane. I get to the Suzuki GZ250 article and I notice not only is a picture of the cruiser (or gyno test) riding style but I realize I've seen this picture before, right on this forum.

Darling Ninja is revealed as our celebrity member. Now that she is uncovered as a brillant writer I think to myself, oh no, have I ever ridiculed her on any of the threads. I wonder if I will be placed on a government watch list by her powerful friends in high places.

I am warning all the smart asses that love to post arguementative statements you never know who you are picking on. There are super powerful members pretending to be ordinary motorcyclists among us.

See, you never know who's on the other end of the keyboard, that's why it pays to be nice.

Not that I subscribe to that theory, but if everyone else did, it would be nice!

The other day at a gas station I had someone ask me if I came here (to the forums). Apparently they recognized me from my new tire slippage post (flattering..)

Does this mean I'm famous?

Hmmm, I managed the shop that Roadracing World brought their GSXR1000 to for a dyno test for their magazine back in 2001. Am I famous? haha.

Good article Annette, and great female perspective. More bikes should be made with lower seat heights for women of your size. Considering the avg female is 5'4", all sportbikes come too tall for many women. A midget waved at me the other day while on my bike and was thinking they should still be making the YSR50 for short people!

Hey, cool! It's difficult to get into print magazines; that's awesome! Do you work on spec for Motorcyclist or have a regular gig with them? (I confess that I stopped reading Motorcyclist after a professional disagreement with them a few years ago, but I definitely support fellow women riders/writers! )

Its compatible...had you read the ninjette one, it says that ninjette.org will respect copyrights, and remove material at the request of the owner of the copyright....

But its a mute discussion anyway...since it was meant as humorous content which was apparently lost in viewing.

Not just bikes, but clothing as well! Women should have the same protection available as men, even if they have a 26" inseam. <---- Article idea for Annette

This thread title is now the answer to a trivia question: What do ninjette.org and Ron Jeremy have in common?

In an ironic twist I ride to work just about everyday, but won't have my bike availabe to ride monday - it will be in a box van heading up to my first track day on tuesday!

also love the good cop (or bad cop) look

Greg, make sure you study the track map; http://www.projansky.com/motorcycle/...s/nhismapl.htm and watch some videos;
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzxJt...eature=related

It looks like they have a cone on it's side (in the video) to designate where you should be on the track. Also watch for the transitions on and off the hill.

If you get there and already know the track layout it will help you a lot.

Good Luck, and have fun.

It appears the weather will be perfect.

Have you done your suspension? Double check your tire pressure before you go out on the track.

Thanks - been on the Tony's website to check the track map and watched the videos, will watch them again this weekend. Checked sag at both ends 33mm front and 37 rear. Someone is bringing a spanner and one of those soft brass tipped rods (when spanners won't fit) so will remove some shock sag on monday night.

Tire pressure is VERY important. Find out what everyone is running and check the pressure everytime out. You might want to check (or change) your brake pads. They are fairly cheap and you want to make sure they will be there when you need them. How are your sneakers?

I wish I was going.

I might be up for Jerry's Auction, in Norwood, MA., on the 25th. There are about 4 or 5 bikes I'm interested in.

Had new tires put on last week and the tech said brakes still have over half the pad thickness left (got state inspection at the same time). Which I am always checking anyway.

Right now tires are at 36/42 but will take them down to the recommended pressures at the track.

Just checked out the auction site, but having son's b'day party that day. GSXR Limited or 13 mile RC30 - either should go for some $$$.

That TZ would be cool. Saw an old TZ750 from AAMRR era a couple weeks ago. Those expansion chambers are wicked.

I would LOVE to have a TZ 750. I don't think I would ride it much, however; once would probably be enough (scary fast).

Does she have a taser on her belt? That takes this thread to an entirely new level. Good luck with that spanking, CC.
