Sorry, my income can only do so much. All told paying for @Momaru and I's tuition cost me nearly $20k this year -- I'm tapped out!

How is RideSmart @ CotA? Some of the CSS students said they really pack it in and it's on the over crowded side; but I know different people have different 'standards'.

As you said, everyone has their own standards, so it can be tough to say. If I had to give my opinion I'd say they might be a little overcrowded, but that could be a function of the lower price and the need to get more riders to break even. If you're charging $1,000 - $3,000 then you have the luxury of having a lot fewer riders to break even on the $50,000/day to rent COTA.

It probably also depends on your skill level, if you're being held up by other riders then you're more apt to say it's too busy. However, if you can ride your own pace comfortably and others are overtaking you, then it might be busy, but you're not as likely to complain.

Still waiting for the rental shop to get their track program ready. Would be a bit much to haul Saturn and/or Zero there from Washington (in my Honda Fit no less)

Did they actually mention a rental program being in the works?
Reason being is that I'd really like to get rid of my GSXR-750 because I only ride it a couple of times a year at COTA, as I'm riding the 300 at my local track. Would love to be able to sell the 750 and maybe just rent a bike for the odd occasion that I need to scratch my COTA itch.

Yeah, Lone Star Moto Rentals was who I was told to call; they said they haven't worked out details of track insurance coverage yet but are working on it.

I'll try to keep that in mind, but if you hear of them or anyone else offering COTA rentals please let me know.

Thanks
