Changed oil, filter, fork seals, right blinker
Yes I touched the exhaust pipe somehow when I was draining the oil. Not sure how or why I did it, but I knew it the second I gripped it with my finger, not how I like to start a service session.
The blister is there and shall remain as a reminder to remain humble. This may of been the first oil change, I hope not. Replaced the filter and the related o-rings. Pretty darn simple, very straight forward. I then replaced the fork oil and dust seals. I did not remove the upper tubes, just the lowers, all went well, so far, so good. Also replaced the right turn signal, the bike is now ready to be ridden. I'll go get it inspected today, I foresee no issues. My wife is excited about this bike, we'll see if she actually rides it. She loves her Honda Metropolitan scooter quite a bit......

How about tires?
I wouldn't turn her loose on 10 year old tires. |

when i bought my 09, in 2013, the tires was original, garage kept bike with 650 miles. those tires were very hard. i had the front end try and walk out from under me a couple times in normal riding. i wouldn't trust old tires, they loose their grip, regardless of tread life left.
nice work on the dust seals. saved some money doing it yourself. |
