Army life put a few extra years on me... Hips, knees, shoulders, left ankle, my back isn't great, but the motorcycle bothers my knee worse than my back. Even been told to sit down while riding by a local handy dandy police man; good thing he is out earning his pay instead of making up laws and trying to scare folks

I've found posture definitely affects how I feel on the bike. I was ending up with my back arched too far, and that hurts. Pelvis forward, back arched the right way just a bit, chest forward, has been much better. Basically, squat-type position instead of chair-type position.

I don't like his tone much, but the info is good.

You are welcome

Frequent relocation on the bike has worked wonders for me during long trips.
After a long commute and before getting off the interstate, I start flexing ankles, wrists and fingers in order to get ready for the control inputs of street traffic.
