My almost finished 05 250 projects

Bought this stock bike about 3 years ago after my first 250 was stollen. Took some time to get my ideas together but now im just down to the final touches. Needs to be tuned and painted but I'm already happy with how all the welding and rewiring came out.

Just a mater of privacy Sean, you might want to change the location line in your profile. It's nice to have something like the state you live in, or maybe the city, or country if you're outside the US, but your street address might be a little too detailed.

Yeah I've had a lot of fun with this build and hope to use it as a stepping stone for my next build. It's a Suzuki '80 Gs450 tank. I had to shape the bottom to fit the frame, seal the the old petcock and welding in a new one, and weld in a new frame mount for the tank to attach to. It all worked out well though. Wish I was able to do the welding myself but that's what friends are for.

I hear ya. On my build I'm using as little welding work as possible since I don't weld and have to pay a shop for little jobs here and there. They're pretty inexpensive, but still.
