Pinlock Shields and Visors

While searching the web for helmets (my first one), I came across the pinlock system available with Arai helmets. Now im already set on getting the Vector 2 from Arai. I want to know if anyone here have had experience with pinlock and their thoughts on it.

There are several helmet manufacturers that are using dual lenses for visors, and all of them [?] use the Pin-lock terminology. In short, they rock for keeping the visor fog-free. You can blow directly on the visor and it still won't fog up. This is most useful in high dewpoint or cold weather riding, but it can't hurt elsewhere too.

****ing amazing. I've been riding everyday for commuting and just for fun since I got my bike. It's been cold. Most days not over 30 degrees. 0 fog on the visor. Where the pinlock doesn't reach by the side of the visor mechanism, it's fogged completely.

I also had the pinlock in when I was doing my MSF course back in October. Even then when it was still fairly warm out, those early mornings are fairly cold and damp. Everyone else in my class had to keep wipping their visor or keep it cracked because they were fogging. Mine was perfect!
